On October 29, 2020, the launching ceremony of the Shizhu County Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project was held at Conch Venture Shizhu Environmental Protection.More than 200 people including the principals of 31 government departments and 33 townships in Chongqing, Zhang Zongbiao, general manager of Shizhu Environmental Protection, and employee representatives attended the ceremony.

Zhang Zongbiao, general manager of Shizhu Environmental Protection, first made a speech. He extended a warm welcome to the leaders and guests present, and briefly introduced the basic situation of Conch Venture and Shizhu Environmental Protection.He emphasized that Shizhu Environmental Protection has overcome the impact of unfavorable factors such as the epidemic, and the project has been successfully put into operation. In the future, relying on the advantages of Conch venture's technology, the Shizhu County household waste incineration power generation project will be operated with high quality, and will actively contribute to the ecological environment protection of the Three Gorges Reservoir area and the construction of a "waste-free city" in Chongqing.

The leaders of the Chongqing Municipal Management Bureau pointed out that the Shizhu County Government has introduced the Conch Venture Waste-to-energy Project and successfully completed and put it into operation. The first domestic waste-to-energy project with a daily processing capacity of 300 tons in a non-main urban county in Chongqing is of great significance. In the future, other districts and counties have provided valuable experience in the construction of waste-to-energy projects.
Subsequently, Shizhu County leaders pointed out that the smooth completion and commissioning of the Shizhu Waste-to-energy Project will provide a powerful boost to Shizhu County to accelerate the modernization process of urban governance and realize the goal of Kangyang Shizhu.

After the event ceremony, the leading guests and entrepreneur representatives who attended the ceremony also visited the Shizhu Environmental Protection's exhibition hall, operating room, and central control room. Shizhu Environmental Protection had in-depth exchanges with Chongqing Municipal Administration Bureau and other competent authorities on matters such as the production and operation of waste-to-energy projects and environmental protection emission supervision.
